Our recent work

Queensland Family and Child Commission

ICEMEDIA worked with Queensland Family and Child Commission to implement an update of the website homepage and to enhance the Knowledge and Resource Hub with new features and functions. This is a central location for all resources, providing the public and Queensland Family and Child Commission staff access to resources to better support better outcomes for children, young people and their families. The solution was developed using the Drupal CMS.

The Queensland Family and Child Commission was established in 2014, to promote and advocate the wellbeing and best interests of children and young people.

Australian Defence Force Cadets

ICEMEDIA has partnered with the Australian Defence Force for over 15 years to develop a range of solutions for the ADF Cadets. This includes the CadetNet Portal and the CadetNet information management platform for approximately 30,000 individual members.

The Portal has transformed the way Cadets operate, from head office and regional offices, through to individual units.  Systems and processes have been moved from principally off-line to fully-online, creating what is essentially an integrated, robust and bespoke ERP solution for the organisation.  This approach has greatly improved organisational efficiencies, more efficient asset management and enhanced reporting across all levels.

The agile-based methodology delivers new features quickly and effectively.  User feedback supports fine-tuning  to improve the user experience over time.

FireReady Emergency Notification App

ICEMEDIA created an enterprise mobile application to provide millions of people with the latest Government-issued information about bushfires in Victoria. A fast and functional application that used smartphone features such as location services and Push Notifications running on a robust Amazon Web Services framework.

FireReady was developed as both iOS and Android Native apps. Designed for smartphones and tablet computers with Wi-Fi or mobile internet connectivity and GPS capability. It provided: access to state-wide emergency data via text and Google Maps; notifications about incidents, emergencies, total fire bans; and fire danger ratings current location and in specific areas.

Morgans Financial

Morgans Financial is Australia’s largest full-service stockbroking and wealth management network.  For over 4 years, ICEMEDIA has worked with Morgans supporting and further developing its website and other digital assets, including its fully integrated mobile app.

Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA)

ICEMEDIA developed and supports CASA’s online air safety manual authoring tool.  This is used by Australian airline operators to complete safety manuals in line with the national Air Operator Certification  program.

The web-based application is designed so safety manuals are prepared in a consistent format and to meet CASA’s strict standards.  Workflows support efficient online approvals and feedback.

CASA’s air safety authoring tool ensures the creation of high quality airline safety manuals supporting airline safety and the safety of passengers and crew.

NSW Electoral Commission

A joint team comprising members from NCS Australia companies ICEMEDIA, Dialog IT, and AccessHQ are working with NSW Electoral Commission supporting the implementation of the organisation’s digital transformation roadmap.

The first stage of our engagement was implementing a new website – consolidating multiple previous websites – and creation of online nomination forms, to support the 2019 NSW state elections.  Kentico was selected as the preferred CMS.  Both the website and the online nominations were successfully completed and implemented well in time to support NSW Electoral Commission’s management of the 2019 elections.

Further design and development is currently underway to support the next stages of NSW Electoral Commission’s digital transformation program.
